At LABRISA, we design our garments to perform at their best, ride after ride. Crafted from high-quality, technical fabrics with deep, rich colors, our pieces are made to last. Proper care ensures they stay as good as new for longer. Follow these simple steps to preserve their performance and extend their lifespan:

  • Let them breathe. Before washing, air out your garments to help remove odors naturally.
  • Pre-treat mud and stains. If your kit has picked up dirt from an adventurous ride, let any mud dry completely before brushing it off. Gently apply a small amount of mild detergent to stubborn stains, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse with cold water.
  • Turn inside out. Washing your garments inside-out helps protect colors, prints, and logos while ensuring a thorough clean.
  • Use a laundry bag. Delicate pieces like jerseys and base layers benefit from being washed in a mesh laundry bag to prevent friction and extend their lifespan.
  • Wash cold. Use a gentle cycle at 30°C with a small amount of mild detergent. Avoid bleach, softeners, or harsh chemicals, as they can break down fabric fibers.
  • Zip it up. Before washing, close all zippers to prevent snagging on other garments.
  • Skip the dryer. Air drying is the best way to maintain fabric integrity. Hang your garments to help them retain their shape.
  • Reproof when needed. If your gear is treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating, refresh it periodically with a suitable waterproofing product to maintain its effectiveness.
